Hickory Hollow Spring Clean Up, Apr. 7

The Northern Neck Audubon Society will sponsor a spring clean up at 9:30 a.m. Saturday April 7, 2018, at Hickory Hollow Natural Area Preserve off Regina Road in Lancaster (see location). The clean up is open to the public and is a Master Naturalist approved project.

Participants should meet in the parking lot at 9:30 when trails will be assigned. We will be doing removal of light debris and identifying the location of downed trees and large branches that require using a chain saw. Bring you own marked tools such as pruning shears pruning saws, loppers and rakes. Wear sturdy footwear, insect repellent and carry your own water bottle. We will furnish water bottle refills and light snacks. Check northernneckaudubon.org for cancellations.
