Join Reedville Fishermen's Museum on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, for "Project Clean Stream" from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Grab family and friends and team-up to clean our streams, gullies, roadsides and the local shoreline.
To participate in this community event:
Register online ASAP at www.pg-cloud.com/ACB or call the Museum at 804-453-6529 (so that they can have your supplies & lunch available)
Check-in at 9:00 am at the Museum (for your Cleanup Kit & to ID your cleanup location)
Bring the trash back & log in your "catch"
RFM will provide free grilled hot dogs and beverages for the cleanup crews, and free admission to the museum all day with family fun and hands-on activities.
Clean up areas include the streams, gullies, roadsides and shores of the villages near the Potomac River/Chesapeake Bay tip of Northumberland County – from US-360 at Surprise Hill east to Sunnybank and all points south to Fairport, Reedville and Fleeton.
If you can’t help Saturday – contact Kim.firstname.lastname@example.org for a “Clean the Creek Week” registration kit. Then, clean up near your home, business, church or school, and bring trash to the Museum on 9/19 or 9/20 from 1:30-4:30pm
This event is in partnership with Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and the Chesapeake Bay Restoration Fund.
