Join NAPS at the Bay Bash, Sat. Aug. 11
Join NAPS at the 3rd Annual Bay Bash Family Fishing Tournament and Benefit Concert, Saturday August 11, 2018, at Ingram Bay Marina (end of Remo Rd. from WIcomico Church). NAPS will be running the concessions and promoting good stewardship of our land and water. Proceeds will benefit children with special needs in the Northern Neck.
The benefit concert is open to the public and runs from 6:30PM to 9:30PM, featuring an award-winning blues band with local roots – the Tom Euler Trio. Food, beer, soda and water will be available at reasonable prices from 3pm until the end of the event. The event space includes tents and shaded areas, plus a “Moon Bounce” for the kids.
The family fishing tournament will be awarding over $3,000 in prizes and includes Open, Ladies, Youth, and Special Anglers divisions. It is a multiple species contest with prizes for most species in one day and largest of each individual species. An angler meeting is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 10 from 6PM to 7PM at the marina, and includes a 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Sunrise on Saturday is the start of the "fishing day" with fish check-in by land or sea ending at 3PM. The awards ceremony will be held during the benefit concert (approximately 6:45PM).
Tournament entry fees per team:
Boat – $75
Kayak/Canoe – $30
Shore/Pier – $15 (individual) / $30 (family)
