Refuge Week! Oct 10-16

Rappahannock River Valley National Wildlife Refuge is excited to announce Refuge Week from October 10-16! This virtual event will have multiple activities each day on its Rappahannock River Valley Facebook Page with fun contests, wildlife facts and opportunities to get out and explore your National Wildlife Refuge. All information is on the downloadable flyer below (with details on page 2).

The Refuge is currently accepting submissions for its Bird Calling Contest (all ages), Drawing Contest (12 and under) and photography showcase by October 10. Also, Walk for the Wild signups are available now (Sign Up Walk for the Wild). You can also sign-up for any of four refuge and partner-led paddles on Cat Point creeks.

Be sure not to miss these opportunities to celebrate conservation and our local wildlife with Refuge Week!
